Bright Beginnings - Stay and Play

Bright Beginnings has activities and fun for parents and carers and their children birth to three. Children experience messy play, enjoy playdough and sensory activities and have the opportunity to dress up and use their creative and imagination skills.  There are also lots of new materials and toys to discover and explore. Stay & Play sessions are a great way to help children to prepare for the nursery environment, learning routine and boundaries, interact with other children and develop their social skills.

Everyone enjoys a healthy snack and has the opportunity to try new tasty food.  We have a story and song time session together before going home.  It is lovely to see both children and parents make new friendships. The staff are also there to lend their support within a safe environment and to help families that are new to the local area access services and events in community.  Childminders are welcome!

Children that attend Bright Beginnings who will be starting our Nursery provision will also get the opportunity for special visits the Nursery as part of our ‘Nursery Ready’ transition.

If you would like any further information on ‘Bright Beginnings’, please contact Marie on 01582 573641.

Stay and Play is convenient for me, there is friendly conversation and parent interaction within the community. Latifat Bakinson

I don't live local but my children attend the school and I wait for session to open as it is a good opportunity for my daughter to socialise.  The staff are very approachable to any problems or needs.  Lisa Rees
